Default JDM cluster and Spoon cluster, straight plug-in?

Any modification needed to work on our USDM DC2?

B2: I somehow recall that the JDM cluster required some sort of mod (wiring or fitting) to fit our usdm. Do you recall something like that too? I'm not 100% sure though.

do
a
search

but a simply answer is yes, it will plug it. Will it all work, no. swap the gauges to the USDM motherboard/white plastic piece.

I just did a search on JDM cluster and Spoon cluster and it didn't say a whole lot about fitting. Which gauge needs to be swapped to the USDM board? I mean if you have a Spoon cluster, it not only have a different gauge, it lights up different as well (and back ground color) so doesn't this defeat the purpose "somewhat" of buying a Spoon gauge and just swap the gauges to USDM board?

The color is painted on the back of the gauge face, both setups use clear (white?) bulbs. Needles, etc you would be transfering as well. Depending on what year your car is you might have to swap some light sheets (where the brake icons, etc are) but those are easy, just pull them off and push them back on. The other option is to cut up the spoon clusters motherboard and start soldering.

The '96 JDM spec R will plug in AND WORK perfectly in a USDM teg. For all the other years, you have to do the mods outlined above. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Depends on the year integra. 95 USDM GS-R is differenent from 99 USDM GS-R, etc.. but ITRs are diff from GS-Rs so a 96 spec cluster might work in all ITRs.. not 100% sure.

I am curious about this too... I have a Spoon Cluster, but have yet to install it, b/c people have told me I need to modify it. I thought it was straight bolt on.
