I was looking at an article about the type r's over in europe or where ever. And the front corner lights light up different then the ones over here in america. The front bulb does not come on, but the outside bulb stays on. I don't know how to post the pic that I seen, but I have also found this article on itrsport.com. Oh and does anyone know where I can get those rear taillights with the turn signal is clear instead of red or orange.

 

those taillights are very difficult to find.

 

It's just wired different, w/ an 1156 bulb instead of 1157. I plan on rewiring my bumper lights so that the corner bulb never flashes, but only comes on w/ parking lights. It looks kind of dumb flashing opposite my turn signal and sidemarker, which is why I plan to do it.

are you talking about the 2000 taillights that are all red with the white reverse lights??

I just talked to Integra Rated R, since his teg has them. And he gave me a web site for an islandic honda dealership. I was going to email them and see if I can get a set.

 

I live in sydney and would you guys be interested If I could get it from the dealership and ship it to you guys? ofcourse you will have to pay for everything. Oh and we do have the same as the european tail lights.

I can ask how much they are.

how bout these? this is my friends integra. He has them on for a long time, looks pretty sweet with hyperwhite bulbs. The will have a bluish reflection from the bulbs during the daytime.

 

Is it just the lighting or does that side blinker have a chrome ring around it?

 

Ok guys, I got the price.
The Type R tailights retail for AUS$355.00 each. So that's around $350US for a pair of tail lights. I'm not sure how much shipping will be with insurance but If you guys are still interested I can ask for you.

 

i live in toronto and a speed shop here carries those tail lights. i haven't seen a teg down here with them on yet. i think they are copies though because the top had a crome trim which is not noticable when they are installed. i didn't bother asking the price because i like my all reds. if any canadians want them i saw them at HyTech Auto on brimley and sheppard in T.O.

He didn't paint them, He bought a set of used cheap clear tails, bought a sheet of cystal candy red transparent adhesive. Me and Him spent 30 mins cutting and putting them on. It was easy, just need a hair dryer on the corners. They look pretty nice and have a mirror shine to them.

Yes $355.00 is from the honda dealership I asked from. That is just one piece thou so the whole set of tailights would be AUS$710 which is around US$350.00 for a set.
The exchange rate changes daily, and i'd only take money order as I don't have a paypal account. I'm sure your post office will do the conversion.
If you want me to get them for you, I'd accept bank cheque as well and the bank I would think would also do the conversion to AUS dollar.
I'll ask the post office so I can finalise shipping charges for you guys. Shipping would include insurance so if anything goes wrong, I can chase up the Post Office. Last thing I want is to be liable for their misshipping.
