Is a turbo considered to be muffled? I have a friend who might come, but his bike is turbo'd and is no louder than any other bike with an aftermarket exhaust. I really like that they open the races up to Sport Bikes. i wish they would add a class where the rules were as follows. Let me know what you think, Bigman, and Jim Skelly... Late model production bike, must run efi, no carbs, 65" wheel base maximum, D.O.T. tire. Anything goes on the motor, and it should be a heads up class. There are already multiple sanctioning bodies with a class like this, and would think it could be a very easy class to get people to attend.

I usually don't have time to pick nits, but NHRA has run bike classes at selected events for 3 or 4 years.

I've seen a 65 inch class like that run at Etown, and it's certainly exciting. At this late date, though, I don't think we've got room for another class at Pomona. You know we already limit the car counts, due to curfew and daylight constraints. But we've already got a note to consider the class for next year.

We will accept a turbo as a muffler at Pomona in the Street Bike Challenge, the rules will be edited to say so. But all other requirements for Street Legal bikes with current registration will be enforced.

I'm sure fabworxs must be related to ProCarGuy or Crewmember.

Like old guy said, we have added motorcycles at selected events since the NHRA SC Series was started five yrs ago. We dont do it in every market because bikes dont do well in every market.

Thanks for the input.

Is this going to be a bracket or heads up? Just to let some friends know who might want to attend.
