GLENDORA, Calif. (Oct.12, 2005) – To kickoff the weekend activities for the fifth annual Nitto NHRA Sport Compact World Finals presented by Overboost.com, the NHRA and Sony Xplod will hold an official ‘NHRA Xplod Sport Compact Racing Series Fan Appreciation Night’ on Friday, Oct. 21, at Dave & Busters in Ontario, Calif.

Many of the sport’s top drivers will be in attendance to meet with the fans and sign autographs. In addition to the driver autograph session, many of the quickest and fastest sport compact around will be on display so fans can get up close and see the inner-workings of these 200-mph beasts that can conquer a quarter-mile in less than seven seconds. The NHRA Xplod Sport Compact Racing Series driver autograph session will begin at 8:30 p.m.

Sony Xplod spokes-model Nikki Zeno will be in attendance to mingle with fans, sign autographs, and help hand out some of the free gifts provided by NHRA and Sony Xplod, including event tickets for the Nitto NHRA Sport Compact World Finals presented by Overboost.com and other Sony promotional products. In addition to the giveaways, the first 50 fans in line for the driver autograph session will receive a free NHRA Xplod Sport Compact Racing Series T-shirt.

X103.9 FM (KCXX)will also be on hand with a radio remote--givingaway a $1400 Sony Xplod Mobile Audio head unit and well as four Nitto Neo-Gen Tires valued at $600 to a lucky listener. Also, NHRA and KCXX will be giving away loads of free World Finals tickets at the event.
