I have a ef with gsr. My altenator seized on me cause of moisture in storage garage. LOL

But should i take it out from top(remove mc), side (take out axel) or botton of car?

Removing the axle is usually the easiest way.

Another vote for axle. Taking the rear mount out is more of a struggle for me.
