Default Brake - Which Pads and Rotors

Need to change the rotors and pads (4 corners) (got full gsr suspension and the ones on are rusty and pads are dead)

So I wanna go cross drilled or should I go slotted or both.
Brembo ? Powerstop ?

Pads.
Axxis ? AEM ???

Any inputs from brake setup pros

Thanks

Go with Powerstop slotted rotors with Hawk HP+ pads.

if you get drilled or slotted rotors, they will solely be for looks. there are no benefits to having drilled/slotted rotors for the street. on the track, they help deglaze the pads due to high heat, but on the street, you'll never see those conditions, so you'll be sacrificing pad life for looks. Get a set of brembo blanks. Blanks have more contact area w/ the pad (more friction surface). Drilling holes also creates stress points in the rotors...I'm not saying they'll crack, which they most likely won't on the street, but they may if you put them thru some heavy track use. Also, slotted rotors like powerslots where the slots go all the way to the edge of the rotor create undue stress points also, which again, won't do anything on the street, but may crack at the track. Get blanks!

As for pads, Hawk, Porterfield, and Carbotech are good choices. Look at their websites and search their product lines for what best suits your needs. The new Axxis Ultimates look to be pretty good also.

I'm running Brembo OE replacements with EBC Green Stuff pads. Very high quality rotor. Can't comment on Powerstops but stay away from anything crossdrilled on the street. You'll get premature heat-checking. I have heard some people complain that their Green Stuff pads glazed prematurely, I haven't had this problem but then again, I'm only using them on the street. EBC tells you to switch to Red Stuff for track use.
