Tuners: I need your 440cc idle maps!
Trying to get my car to idle correctly. So far I've replaced my IACV which didn't really do much, so back to the tuning.
I had a perfectly tuned 310cc map, then I rescaled it for my new 440's, but the idle was pig rich, sparatic, and would kill after it idled for 15-20 seconds.
I leaned out idle (A LOT) and adjusted the target idle to 800rpms with IACV duty cycle somewhere around the 50% range. I kept the timing the same (~15deg). That made the idle more stable, but it still kills every so often when I come to a stop. The most frustrating part is that half the time it takes a good 5 minutes before it will start up again, usually I have to reset the ECU first too.
If anyone can share their idle maps/tips for 440cc injectors on a 85x87.2 setup ~12.3:1 compression. Thanks!
