ITR pistons?

Default pistons ???

is it possible to put type R pistons in an h22 block ? with eagle rods

NO, H22 pistons are much bigger. ITR pistons are 81mm and H22 are 87mm.

Correct me if I'm wrong

Do you think that it's possible that somebody inadvertently referred to H22 Type S pistons as "Type R" pistons?

That'd be my guess.

JDM Type S pistons are a pretty common upgrade for BB's in the USDM.
