Default What are you sure about?

Dealing with the LS swap into a 90 si. How sure is everyone that you cant use...si distrib, and alternator? Im getting real close to my budget and Im hoping to save some cash some whare...what about injectors...are those smaller than the ones from a 91 teg? Just curious...looks like the swap is coming to around 2k after everything...heh...alot more than I expected...and thats if everything goes well Take it easy.

I'm sure that the injectors will work fine, they all flow the same....but that's it...

I am pretty sure that the dist. will not work. I do not know about the alt. The injectors should work fine. It sounds like the car may already be out of commision. If so I would take this approach. Check the local bone yards for the dist and alt. Sell the dist. off the Si on ebay. You can probably get $75-$95 for it. Try and sell the alt. and OBD1 injectors as well and this should cut down on your out of pocket expense. You might even come out ahead. If so buy:

thanks for the info..i allready have leads on the dist ($75) and alter ($45) so that should be good...Im hoping to sell the distrib here on h-t.com...Have an interested buyer..hasta
