I was looking at one of their engines and I wanted to know if anyone has ever dealt with them. Plus do you think their hydro crv/vtec engine is any good? It seems like they have quite a motor but is it as good as it sounds?

 

importbuilders Is a company trying to make a name for themselves, and doing a great job at it. They count on their good support and products to do this. I would say its a safe bet that they are good to go with. I have had dealings with the owner Jeff (not with purchessing). He is a pretty down to earth guy and I think he would stand behind his products to the very end.

i asked him about a fully built crvtec for N/A and well if $$ is not such an issue he recommended to go with b18c1 .

jeff is an awsome guy...he know his sh*t. Ive had 3 or 4 friends get their motor's done there..they do an awsome job..clean and what you ask for. You pay a little more than other places but as the saying goes you get what you pay for. Their crv/vtec is an awsome motor i knew a guy running it in his hatch...worth it..but a lot of money..if you got it...go for it.

 

yea, thats the price is I install the motor here, fully tune it with Hondata Stage 3, and then crate it to you, fully tuned. Just drop it in, and start the car, and race.

Its not just a motor. It comes with tires, radiator, SMSP header, exhuast, intake, mounts, guages, and Type-R tranny with LSD.

NO CORE REQUIRED. I provide it all.

Plus its around 230 WHP. All motor.

Hey Pete, thanks for the comments. I never expected that from you, I know we have gotten into it over you know who before.

Also, one of the biggest problems I have, is people actually understanding what that "solution" is. Its not just a crv/tec motor with pistons and cams. It doesn't say it, but the same package comes in GSR top to bottom, 2 liter.

I have 10 packages, but only list 4. #3 is BY FAR the most popular, and we are doing 3 Package 3 Forced Induction's right now.

jeff knows his ****,he speaks his mind so dont get offended, weve gotten into once but it was over something minor (from a gb thread) his threads are some of the most informative on this board,a true enthusiast.not just in it for the benjamins.wish i had the smackers,i'd have them build me up a killer street turbo b18c1.

 

Jeff's a great guy. I just put in an order for a b18c1 changeover. All the guys there are awesome.

One thing you don't wanna do with Jeff is play Street Fighter. He's hella cheap with Guile j/k Jeff, ur hella good...it was quite impressive how u kicked the crap outta us.
