I took off my front bumper once so that i could put a kit on (yes i know i was a ricer once...) and the bolts were made of this cheap plastic that stripped at the tops very easily, but now i have my stock bumper back on and i just got a spoon style 90-93 front lip and i was wondering if anyone knows if i can replace the stock bolts with metal bolts and what kind of bolts would i need, or would i just have to reorder/buy new plastic front bolts, the bolts are the top mount bolts that hold the front bumper to the car, and the car is a 93 accrd. thanks
Here's the bumper detail as published in the Honda Parts catalogue.

I'd stick with what it came with. It's a rather 'high corrosion' area and substituting steel bolts for nylon could get you in trouble the next time you have to take it off.
were you refering to the bumper cover retaining push-thru clips, or the bumper reinforcement retainer bolts?

Again
My personal preference....
If I were living in the Pacific Northwest, which sees more rain in one year than I see in two years, I'd stick with what was originally there.
