well my car has had trouble starting, seems like there is no spark. And when i rev the rpm's are jumpy and fly back and forth. So then the car didn't start. So i decided to change out the ignitor. That fixed both problems. the car started up perfectly. THE BAD NEWS - this fixed everything for about 1 day. the rpm's went crazy again, and the car wont start anymore.

My question is can it be a short? or should i get a new dizzy. i just don't want to spend the money on a dizzy and have it blow out like the ignitor did.

See if the vehicle will pop-start , that should narrowdown problems like starter motor/starter solenoid,

 

from what it seeems, the car is not getting any spark. i hear the fuel pump priming.

 

Check the blue wire on the ignitor and make sure that the spade end is not loose. If it is crimp it down. Hope that works
