Default Whats the deal with hasport?

Well I have been wanting to do a five speed swap and then jump on the band wagon and throw an H22 in there. Everyone says that hasport has the mounts and everything. Well all I can find there is stuff for civics and CRX's. Am I looking at the wrong hasport? Or did they just stop making stuff. I was just wondering because I'm starting to make some halfway decent money and I really don't want to have to pay alot and have a shop do it all for me.

I know that. That is why I also pointed out the five speed swap. I know there are other places to find the parts but everyone I have talked to, and hearing about them from here. I have heard hasport does good work. The engine I can do myself with no problem. I am a little cautions about doing the transmision myself.

hasport does not make mount for the h22 swap into the accord including doing a 5 speed swap. you would use all OEM mounts. if you know you can do the motor swap yourself why are you reluctant to do a tranny swap?? its not very hard, if you have pulled a motor before chances are you have taken out the transmission in the process. the only thing left you have to do is get the 5speed tranny mount and do the clutch cables...wait why am i telling you this...this has been covered 1,000 times. do a search

to mount the manual tranny, im pretty sure all you do is take of one of the automatic mount, and turn it around

hasport will do the wiring for you though... just send them the one off the h22 and they will send you back the right one.. its like 300 i think? or you can do it yourself

I've never pulled an engine before. I know it can't be too terribly difficult with all the information out there. I have searched, and I got alot of information. My main problem though is the fact that at my house I don't even have a drive way. I can borrow a buddy's garage for a few days to do the engine but I will only be able to do it for a weekend or so. Other than that all my work is done by the curb. I know they'll do the wiring, I'm not paying them that much to do something that simple. I just figured it would be easier to have the five speed put in by a garage, and just bring all the parts and say "hey, do it too it." Then I could drop the engine in on a spare weekend.

You all need to stop giving out incorrect info..Hasport does make 1 mount for the H22 swap it's the driver's side you have to go under shop online. Hell here's the link http://hasport.com/catalog/ind...2f354

edit...
It's a lot cheaper to get a 97 Prelude mount and trim it to fit.

good call... i knew hasport was working on that mount, however, when i asked them about it a few months back they said that they hadnt' relased it to the public yet its good to know they finally are selling that now... but i knew they were working on one... but on the other hand, when i did my swap in my 92 lx i didnt mess with the mounts at all and the bitch went right in with no probs... and has been driving good since... good luck man...
