i am in the process of looking for a car and someone emailed me and said that they have a 1993 civic si aztec green pearl, the problem is they live real far away and they cant send me any pictuers, and i cant find a picture civic with aztec green anywhere.
is aztec green a rare color?

i dont think the si's came in that color.
i thought it was only dx, cx, and vx in hatch form

ex and dx in coupe form

 

well i tried the google search and it cam up with nothing.

are you sure that the 1993 civic si did not come with aztec green pearl?
the gut says it is an si and it is aztec green pearl, and i has never been repainted.

 

ask him for a VIN and check carfax then

 

I have a 93 SI with the Aztec Green Pearl. So yes they came in that color. I will try to get a pic tonight. Send me an email requesting it and I will attach a photograph.

 

Just found an online link to a photo. Use Google type in Aztec green pearl. The photo is of a hatch. Can't see if it is an SI or not.

 

This is only staying open to prove or disprove that they came in that color.

also Aztec Green Pearl Clearcoat(BG-29P) on paintscratch.com for the 93-94, no other greens close to it are listed. So if it's green/teal, and it's a 93 it has to be that color. A lot of people call it teal or get it confused with the Tahitian Green Pearl Clearcoat (BG-28P) that came on the '92 civic.

 

I also have a teal 93si, but weather it's Tahitian green or Aztec green I don't know. One of them is a bit darker than the other. My car is of the lighter color. I just had some pictures taken and I'll get them up soon.

 

The paint code for a 93 SI HB is BG-29P-4 Described a Aztec Green Pearl. That is what color my car. For sure!!! Just had the rear bumper painted and that is the code they used and it matches my car (93 SI HB)
