Which will have a bigger impact on my handling characteristics? My DA is gutted from the front seats back, so space is not an issue here.
The autopower I'm considering is the street-sport seen here-

EM Racing-

And do you guys think that doing both would be overkill? The car will be daily driven but will see track duty.

I run the EM Racing ones in my EK, and i must say i noticed the diffrence and was rather surprised with the results.

em is junk, no comparison. with the joints come flex and defeats the purpurse of the bars in the first place. if you don't believe me,ask this questing in the roadrace forum.
get the autopower roll bar if you are considering track duty. the car will be stiffer and safer.

Go for the roll bar. Better performance and it'll save you if you get into trouble. I really wouldn't want to be in a rolling car with multiple "barz" hanging off the various pillars. If one of the joints breaks when you roll you could be skewered.

now that might be the ticket for stiffness. solid and trianlates(sp) the rear frame and shock towers.

Haha, that pic again... good lord I mean those bars are just floating there or something
Seriously... in the rear section of the interior, I don't know if all these weirdo braces really help. Sure the autopower and rear shock/strut bar and whatever stock bar at the rear would be great ---> but after that...diminishing returns and perhaps just extra weight + more attention + blocked view ?
Although I do have a rollcage, that serves a few additional purposes...

I would not get a rollbar for a handling upgrade. I noticed jack crap after install, and its not something your little butt dyno is going to be able to tell. The X braces are just retarded, chewing up space to carry crap, looking retarded and are a big waste of money IMO.
If you track a lot, would like harnesses and a fixed back seat, and most importantly are worried about what will happen if you roll on track, then get the rollbar. But if you think its going to make the car handle better then you're just retarded.

Koala, I'm not sure what car you're driving, but in the older bodies that have kind of "loosened up", the rollbars, even the bolt-in variety, stiffen everything up a bit. I noticed a significant difference in my EG hatch, though in my '00 ITR, the difference was much less, to the point of being almost unnoticeable.
