Found another teggie!
Hey it's me again, (i ask should i buy this half mod teg) Well after searching and searching i finally found one and should be picking it up this saturday. But here's the thing it'sa 94 metallic red, 5spd, power everything, sunroof, and stock with only 90k and i don't know what model integra it is! It sounds like a gs-r, but the guy was like "it's a ls-r or something like that" He only drive's it when he goes out of town so the miles are highway miles, and he sells cars as well. But i will post pictures if i get it or not, but i just wanted to know what model it soundes like? Oh well maybe i just look and see and if it doesn't say vtec then i know it's not a gs-r!

yo heres my advice to u.. in my oppnion, i would oonly buy a teg if its a GSR. other den that. i wont buy it. check da valve cover n see if it says VTEC. check da ECU if it says p72. and also, test drive it, rev it past 5700k and see if da secondairy screams. if it does. pick it up!!!!! u must b lucky finding a 94 with only 90k on it.

I don't see why it's so odd that this seller doesn't know what model Integra he has. Not everyone who owns an Integra is "into" cars (gasp), and correct me if I am wrong, but with the exception of the ITR and SE, I don't think the trim level is displayed anywhere on a G3 teg - be it RS, LS, or GS-R. The SE's have the "special edition" badge on the rear and the GSRs say DOHC VTEC - but not "GS-R"
If you want to find out if it's VTEC and make it easy on the seller, just ask him how high the Tach goes - 8k(nonVTEC) or 9k(VTEC) . Should be able to do that without opening the hood
, but you can be sure with the vin - DC2 (VTEC 2dr) or DC4 (non-VTEC 2dr)

Most people would do carfax reports for free...since it doesn't cost them anything. When i paid for a month's unlimited, I did probably 60-70 carfax's for different people all for free. No need for money, I'm sure you can find someone who wont charge.
Thanks guys for the help, where can i do a carfax for two bucks? My family has bought three cars from his in like two year period(not that it matters) But i mean to me it sounds like a gs-r(really hoping it is) oh and found out the color is milano red so i'm just going to keep my figures cross! But when i called him to find me an integra he was like "the one with vtec" So i won't know til sat.

dude, why dont you just ask him for the vin. and from the vin you can tell if it a gsr or not. ask him more questions he probly just acting like he dont know ****. if you sell cars you should know cars. no dumass will sell a GSR for the price of an RS

To actually pay for it? $20. But, you can find people on here or other places that pay the additional $5 and get unlimited carfax reports for a month. Just be nice and ask someone to run the VIN for you. In GDD there are a handfull of people that all that is required is just posting the VIN and they'll return with its history.
