Isaw 2 pictures of targa top coversion on a 97+ prelude. How much does a targa conversion cost? Do you have to reinforce the bottom of the car so it wont collapse? Will it effect the balance of the car? Since I already have a sunroof, woudnt it just be like an extended sunroof, so nothing would have to be changed except cutting the whole and putting a latch? Please respond.

 

It would destroy the structural rigidity of the chassis.

2. I'm a fan of the targa top and believe that this would get you huge points on the show circuit.
3. This question will best be answered by a good hot rod shop.

 

If you're going for a show Prelude like your username would imply then definetely go for it. I think it would be a really big help on at a show. But, if you're actually thinking about running the car hard then I wouldn't suggest it. It will twist and flex like my friend John when he watches Derrin's Dance Grooves Not very pretty I might add.
