Default insurance on a track car

I'm currently workin on a project car that will more than likely not be registered or see any street time but i'd like to insure it against theft. would i go through my car insurance, or home owners insurance or is there no way to do this? thanks.

No car insurance company will ask you what your lic plate number is. But if they find you racing it at the track you will be cancelled. Home owners will only cover your car if parked on your property when stolen and then its still a fine line. Kind of a weird question do you expect it to get stolen? If your building a track only car I would assume it will live in your garage, if your that worried remove a critical part when you park it. Either way you can insure it threw your auto insurance company.

i dont expect it to get stolen, but they've broken into my daily drivers about 5 times in the past 3 years, and i dont have a garage, the car stay behind a wooden gate in the backyard. thats why i'm worried about throwing so much money into it just to have it stolen from me.

my insurance is priced based on the value i assessed for my car. i go through allstate which is a middle man to who actually insures my race car. its cheap too cause it is a track car only.

These guys are great very affordable only thing is you have very high deductable.

overall the service was great. Its nice to have insurance especially when you travel across the country. You never know your trailer could end up in ditch or anythign bad could happen.

Look what happedn to the orginal venom car when it caught fire.

the insurance is abotu 600$ year depending on how much you value i had it valued at 100,000 including trailer and tools and car

My state farm agent happened to see my car on Nopi tunervision . Another insurance company is K&K insurance. They do a lot of the pro teams.

so if your race car goes up in flames for some reason or other (bad tuning, gets struck by lightning) while you're racing, all the damage will be covered for $600 per year???

on track incidents is special policy additiaonl where if damage exceeds 5000, then it will be covered but if damange or theft is under that value it is not covered it depends on what policy you get from them

can you not get full coverage......even if a **** ant scratches your car it's covered...so to speak.....for drag racing why have all this different ****....when it is all at the track....they will find some way to tell you your not covered....then you say aw the hell w/it.and lose the money you already put down....these insurance companies are making a killing selling bull **** coverage...

i am just voicing my opion...i mean think about it.if you blow your **** up...i am sure the insurance company is just going to write a check....hell that would be like FREE R&D.
