Can anyone help me enable the Wideband option on my ECU or does it have to go back to MoTec for this???

You call them and pay the money and they give you the passcode to get in.

I can help you, but it's not free! lol You have to buy the lambda option from any motec dealer. You trade a cc number for a password.

Iwas told that the passwords are created based on your serial number. Kinda like a key generator. So all the ecu are different.

One more question, just to make certain, the MoTec references kpa for boost numbers right??? Meaning 200kpa = 29psi????

 

100kpa 14.7psi, or atmospheric pressure. 200kpa = 14.7lbs of boost, or 1 bar.

vacuum is below 100kpa.

 

Do you have a conversion method so I can program the boost table??? Obviously to run 29psi of boost I wouldn't double the kpa number to 400???

every 100kpa is 14.7psi. So, 200kpa = 14.7psi boost, 300kpa = 29.4psi boost, etc...

look into all the funtions of the lambda option and you might change your mind about the coin. i am going to purchase it, though i did think about many ways of going around it.

so is it possible for you to pm me a price on the honda motec kit m4 i belive with your halls sensor. i looking into getting motec for next season and want to know what im going to be looking forward to pay for it. thanks ahead of time

I just had mine activated for the M4, it was $693 for the password and $340 for 4 wire wide band sensor.
