EK K20 NEW DAILY

do you have any problems with the height of the motor. I know that there was issues before about the oil pan sticking out so low. You car looks pretty low so I was wondering if you had any issues. I want to do a k20 swap and my car is as low as yours and was just wondering if you had any problems.
Thanks
Thanks
no clearance issues yet the lowest prt is header but it is behind wheels so clearance is not as big of an issue. and yes they are jdm itr 4 x 114 wheels thanks for all the nice comments. i cant believe how much this car pulls in vtec its awesome
noob question.
a friend of mind is looking to do the same, K motor into a EK.
I am wondering this myself for her case, she's looking to use HASPORT mounts of course, but are there aftermarket companies producing headers that would "line up" and mount properly to the STOCK CAT or TEST PIPE (previously purchased for use w/ the STOCK EK motor)?
I assume then she can keep her current midpipe/muffler - or well technically - catback exhaust!
pls no flames! thanks.

i used tsx header and made my own exhaust , i imagine you could use existing exhaust but you would have to modify problably one or two cuts and the flange on the header is diff. it would be minor. the harder part is mounting, cutting, and setting up shifter box especially if you want it to look OEM . i have seen some people just mount shifter on top without cutting and building abox to set in and the shifter is really high not to mention the fact they cant fit center console. the two most challenging things about this swap would be wiring(if doing it yourself, and shifter in my opinion. the rest is small tedious tasks
alright, I guess no one has produced a header specific for such swaps... then again there is not enough market for such explicit headers.
stupid me, it didn't occur to me to just have a custom made test-pipe with the correct length and flange ends - assuming those with the K-motor would not use a CAT then... be mighty pricey to hack up a OEM CAT to pass air care!

there are like 10 different headers made specifically for this swap...
search on here or k20a.org for information
