Well, its not that I don't appreciate the effort however if you look a bit closer at the title of my post its that I need to do and p0a ECU auto to manual conversion, not a complete tranny swap. Since you did offer help with no additude and or rude remarks that we all have become accustomed to here on HT I will give you a big thanks again.

 

are you asking which ecu to use or how to make an auto ecu into a manual one?

if you are swapping to manual, you will need the manual ecu, i think you can run the auto but i wouldnt try it,

i dont think its worth makin an auto ecu into a manual one, just buy one, i got my manual one for less than $100.

 

Already have the manual and I have done it many a time on p28. not a big deal just need to know what needs removed, cut, jumped. Well worth it to save cash. thanks anyway.
