Motor Swaps
I was at work, talking to guys that have all done swaps on the eg's but im not really into them. Im more into the ef's. so they told me that its not hard to swap a b16 into an ef just as long as i get the cable tranny.
they made it seem like its really a hard part to find.
is this true, or is it no big deal.
they are oging to help me out. i work at honda by the way. so thats not a big deal.
i just need to know if its hard to find this tranny, and if i have the b16 and cable tranny will it just swap right in with motoro mounts or do i need a new ecu and harrnes or what?

OK, first off. you should really search and check the FAQ links. Honda swaps are so common nowadays anyone can do them with the right amount of knowledge and research.
you do not need a cable tranny to do this swap. They are harder to find nowadya but not impossible to find. Its much easier to do so since EF's are cable equipped. You will need a motor mount kit. Hasport has nice ones that have been engineered right, They also make a cable to Hydro tranny kit so you can use a later hydro tranny. I.E GSR tranny
In regards to the ECU, you have a few choices depending on the motor and if you are going to stay OBD-O
