93 ls rear disks on an eg civic hatch
like tittle says, i have available to me a 93 ls that has a blown motor and no need for it so i want to do the rear disks on my car. will the 93 ls fit? i searched and it said 90+ integra but i just want to double check before i go ahead and do it. and do any of u know if the 93 ls came with abs?
thanx.
thanx.
Yes it will fit. Just make sure you use your lower control arms, and your camber won't be affected.
But I suggest you go get a alignment afterwards. I just finished mine up, got mine from a 90 LS and put them on a 95 Civic Ex non-abs.
And if you want, use the proportional valve from the integra aswell. But buy a 90 Civic Ex master-cylinder if you use the prop. valve, its a bigger MC. Just to let ya know.
Good Luck. And use alot of rust-penetrator to losen up those bolts, trust me, its no fun drilling and retaping those threads.
PS- I don't recall ABS affecting the rear disc setup, only the front.
But if the car is ABS, you can't use the prop valve. Good luck.

thanx for answering, but i have a couple questions that i am uncleared about.
the prop. valve on the 93 ls is 40/40 right? and that will bolt right up to my 95 cx?
am only doing the rear discs so do i need to change the brake master cylinder and brake booster from the 93 ls to my cx? will it bolt right up? and last i read that you shouldnt use the tegs e-brake lines because u will have to cut a whole on the floor of the car because the line wont go in right, something about being too big?
help me, thanx

help me, thanx</TD></TR></TABLE> Should be. IIRC it is a 40/40, they changed it in 94, I think. It will bolt up, just get a line wrench so you don't round anything off.
No, don't use the Master Cylinder from the Integra, nor the brake booster. The push rods are different on the boosters, and you may wanna check where the hardlines go into the Master Cylinder at.
I am running Teg e-brake lines, and everything bolted up.
Just make sure you get line wrenches, use a 90 Ex Master Cylinder(if your worrred about it) and use your control arms in the rear.
Thanks, Hit me up on the instant messanger if you want.

so your saying to use the prop valve from the 93 ls and it will bolt right up, and also use the e-brake lines fro the teg as well? but will it make a difference if i use my stock master cylinder and brake booster since i only did the rear swap and am already fixing that by adding the 40/40 valve? and what teg e-brake lines are u using, out of what year teg?
