Default Quick question about Apexi N1 Catbacks

I've been looking at an Apexi N1 catback for a little bit now, but I have a coupe of questions regarding the exhaust. For a 96-00 Coupe, does the piping run the stock route, or does it go under the LCA? Also, does it have the angled look, or a straight out look?

Second, for a 92-95 hatch, does the exhaust go under the LCA, or follow the stock routing? Thanks.

i just bought mine about a half a year ago....first of all...it doesn't have any jdm wickness angle yo yo angle to it....i guess the older version of the N1 did....although i would prefer it to actually have angle to it...it doesn't...coupe may be differnt but i would think not...i have the hatch....also it doesn't run under the LCA it wraps around it...

as for 92-95's i would assume it to be the exact same thing...

Get the RSR ex-mag...it doesn't wrap and its JDM bling...angled...very nice peice

I'd like to get the gt-2, but it goes under the LCA, and my car has h&r race springs (2.5" drop), and I don't want to ruin the exhaust my scraping it.

newer ones don't have the angle for a reason.
it prevents the can from scraping

Yea, that's what I've read. I've also heard that the new n1's are much smaller than the old ones and have a longer tip. Any truth to this?

I love that f'n exhaust. Just running under the LCA is what I'm afraid of. My roomate has one on his eg. I love the sound of it when his b16 hits vtec.

From what I understand, the newer Apexi N1's (at least for the coupe) follow the stock original path of exhaust piping. Now they go over the LCA unlick before where they when straight under. I think they changed this last year dude to people complaining about scraping too easily compared to other systems. As far as the angle of the muffler, I think it's more straight now, than angled.

Do you know anything about the size of the muffler? If they stayed the same, or went smaller w/ a longer tip?

My friend ordered an N1 muffler for his coupe, got it welded on, and the thing is small as hell. Some kid I used to hang out with bought an N1 catback for his DC integra, and the muffler was a helluva lot bigger.
