Default GC and tokico adjusting problem PLEASE HELP

On the rear of my 97 civic, drivers side perch is 3/4 up on the collar and that leaves a 1 inch gap between car and tire but on the passenger side the perch is all the way down on the collar and there is also a one inch gap between the car and tire. when i try to set the passenger side perch to 3/4's up(the same height as the drivers perch) there ends up being about a good 2 1/2 inch gap between car and tire. what the hell is going on. I also have a skunk 2 sway bar if that makes a difference.

Relative to the bottom of the shock, measure up to the bottom of the perch on both sides. Is that measurement different (by several inches)? If so then the perch on one side is not seated correctly or installed upside down. Remove and resolve.

If that measurement is the same then make sure that you have the same model shock on both sides.

If that does not resolve it then make sure the GC sleeves are the same height (fom bottom to top) Maybe you have a mismatched pair.

If that does not resolve it then maybe you have mismatched springs.

Final issue would be a bent LCA

alan
