My girlfriend got her neon painted there. I wasn't very impressed with the messy work they did. The paint was ok, they forgot to take the tape out of her door jams, got some paint on her windows and little flaws like such. It's abuncha convicts painting cars there.

Depends on the maaco, they are all independently owned... thus the work is different at each, my maaco job sucked *****.. but a guy i know got his done at a maaco and it looks pretty decent.

Go to your local maaco, ask to look at the cars there working on at the present time, they should have some just finished one, and plenty of pictures of their previous jobs, i'd do that then go from there.

it must depend on location, as stated. mine is almost perfect. there was a little tiny bit of overspray, but you can't really see it. not because it's so tiny, but because the car looks so good! nobody notices the overspray until i mention it. it really is small. and for $450 i got a 2 year warranty against flaking/fading/peeling and i got a GREAT-looking color. up close the finish isn't quite perfect, but i've settled with that since it was 1/4 what it would have cost for a pro paint job. and yes, every single sander/painter/primer/etc. where i went was Mexican. they were all wearing sweaters in FL. only the owner and the other guy behind the desk spoke any English.
