It looks like once you hit vtec your power bounces down for a couple rpms and then back up you might want to change your vtec setting maybe it will smoothing out.

more octane does not = more hp..
most id try to run would be 100 octane, you should be able to reach mbt with 93 no problem.
just for comparison... we did 217 with euro r intake manifold, jun3 cams, crap header, stock head, aem ems. it was pulling to a little over 8500

We know more octane does not equal more hp we just had the fuel so we decided to use it. What other recomendations would you give use to do?

It's still detonating after the new injectors?
Seems to like the juice though

If it was detonating on race gas, then it would be worse on lower octane, right? It doesn't seem like that setup should detonate at all though... Thanks for posing your setup and dyno!

we just installed bigger injecters & we are going to dyno/tune this week.

Shouldnt be detonating with that low of a CR, unless youre speaking of under nitrous-ed conditios and still not with c16. I think youll see a dramatic increase in power by switching to 93 octane so you get full burn effect on the power stroke , and by fixing whatever problem it is your having with cylinder #4.
FYI, I made 206whp & 164tq on dynodynamics with Jun cams, TWM ITBs, AEM EMS, SMSP header, UR pulleys, USDM stock head/bottom end.
If you want dynojet figures, that would be approximately 226whp.

how is your air fuel ratio?
can u tell if ur starving of some fuel?
and i assume all of this is on a healthy motor...
good luck with retuning with bigger injectors..

dispute results however you may, but on rlz's dynapack, which they say is somewhere from 10-20% lower than a local dynojet, i put down 183whp and 140wtq.....
add 10% = 201whp and 154 ft lbs
add 12.5% = 206whp and 156 ft lbs
thats with only a j's racing intake, a rmf mild build header, and a catback, stock jdm h22....tuned on an s200....
just to provide a sense of how low that thing reads....stock h22s put down about 130-140max on their dyno, and are well known to put down 165-170 on dynojets....thats about 25% off...but i wont be that ambitious, that would put me at like 230whp....
take it how you see it, im not claiming anything....just for info....
with stock compression, you should be running pump gas....
pop that motor back out, and throw some f22/h23 rods and crank in there, with type s pistons....that will put you at a bit over 12:1 and bump the stroke a good bit...then you probably could see benefits from the race gas, but either way, it would pick up huge hp numbers....
oh and if thats an anr header, a switch to an smsp or an rmf would show some real good gains....
