i was wondering what the high hp guys think about the stock civic hubs. i have never heard or read about the stock hub/spline stripping or breaking whether it is a stock axle or a aftermarket axle (gator, pro-drive, etc.). so im assuming the stock hub and the outer spline are pretty well off on high hp cars? any thoughts? is it mostly the inner spline stripping and/or the cv joint breaking when things do go wrong? thank you guys for your information and thoughts.

 

what do you guys think? do they mostly break at the inner spline or cv joint? or is it just the inner spline? again, i have never heard of a hub or outer spline give out/strip.

Thats the first thing that breaks when you use a impact gun on the nut instead of using a Torque Wrench. 131 ft lbs.

Most aftermarket HP axles have upgraded hubs and outters.
