It was a killer weekend. People were flying!! Donna set a new H4 record! Brandon set a new H1 record. Congrats to both!

We had 7 in the H4 class on Sunday. Bob said he would race @ Thunderhill (on Sunday). Derek will be racing in his new car. Ron should have his Integra fixed. If Jimmy tests on Sat, he can race too.

We should have 9-10 on Sat & 11 on Sunday!!

If Niterider gets his electrical gremlins taken care of, .........there could be another in the pack!

yes mucho congrats to Brandon, who continues to amaze me.

And a big congrats to donna, it seems like either one of those people could get a 3cyl geo around the track FAST.

I just need to install two parts on my car, buy some new tires, and ill be testing on saturday and racing on sunday.

Yep, there was a HU car this weekend. Some sort of electrical problems get the car from running well. It was the white 6th Gen. Civic 'hatch.

First off I would really like to thank everyone from Redstone Motors (Mark, Graham, and Derek) for all their help all weekend. Also like to thank all of our competitors for making us feel apart of the H4 HC this weekend. We had an up and down weekend, but bottom line we learned allot and had allot of fun. Congratulations to Donna for her two wins this weekend. She and the other H4 guys were FLYING. Everytime we looked at the time sheets it seemed like someone else broke the track record.

As for the Rota wheel, we are not 100% sure what happened with it . I never hit any curbs or even dropped a tire off the track all weekend. I was coming down the hill into turn 4 and the rear end had a vibration in it, so I started to slow down and then the wheel let go I thought that the lugs might have been loose, but they were all completely tight. The wheels were not new (2-3 seasons on them). Donna,Ron, and some of the other H4 guys found some hair line cracks on the other wheels, so we are not sure if it was a defective wheels or just wear and tear on the wheels. We are going to contact Rota and see what they think. We will keep everyone posted on this.

Ya, We probably should purchase a stronger wheel, but racing is expensive as is plus allot of people use Rota wheels and have no problems with them. There was very minor damage done to the car after the wheel came off. It was very odd seeing a wheel with no spokes role down the track after it broke off. I would have had footage but I forgot the camera mount

Sounds like a great weekend guys. Glad to see so much action in H4.

Sorry about your car Brian, but at least it doesn't sound like the damage was too bad. Glad to see Mike L made it out in his new car. I can't wait to actually get the chance to race with you guys.

On that note, Jon and I are going to be at the SoCal BW event Nov 12-13. Any of you NorCal'ers wanna come down and play?
