anyways i love bronze and polished lip wheels. and i had just got these bronze slips for my car, and dont really wanna sell these, or get new wheels, so i decided to polish the lips on them. so with aobut 2 days in just ONE WHEEL! im finally done with a teaser...i sanded it all by hand, but i think on the next 3 wheels, im gonna tape off with masking and duck tape and spray some paint stripper or something. anyways here is the pic LMK what you think

Yes, either that or use paint stripper sparingly just on the edges and finish up with sandpaper, but dremel would work best.

very true... i was in the same scenario, ended up just doing it all by hand, even with how sore my arms were. it'll be worth it, especially when you dont get stripper overspray on your spokes.

what dremal tool did you use? i dont wanna really use the wire brush one, cause i dont want to to make cuts in the wheel, then ill have to do just as much work sanding.
maybe like the little sanding tool....lol sorry i dont know any dremal tool names!

Just get a multispeed dremel, it comes with the basic 'heads'. Then you can go to your local large hobby store or home depot type store and look at the metal parts. You can get a burr type thing (such as the wheel) that is much more mild, and then follow it up with polishing discs.

if u do use paint stripper, i would recomend using the stuff that comes in a can that you brush on as opposed to spray on. It's much easier to control and won't run under the tape as easily. In my experience, it also seems to work better
