lol so our IM'sisint good enough short anser is yes. it's has to do with the numbers after the code

xxxxxx-PM5-A05

A can be A for CA or L for fedral emisions
0 IDK
5 if it enda in a 5 or od number it's auto even or 0 = manual

i know i'm wrong some where but it;s that general idea.

the PM5 can be manual or auto. you can open it up and look for the lock-up solenoid resistors just like on a PM6/PG7/PM7. and afaik, you can't chip it.

i have a spare auto PM5 here, and it's 37820-PM5-A59. so, if the odd/even number thing is right, then yours is auto, too.

Yeah, diemaster has explained enough to me about not be able to do it for me to know that even if you put the chip on you can't really change anything.
