Upgrading to Skunk2 S2, should I mill head or upgrade piston on gsr
I got some S2S2. I have stock usdm 99 gsr. I know I need more compression with these cams. Should I mill my head either .003 or .004 without upgrading pistons, or upgrade to itr pistons? If I upgrade to pistons, what is the procedure I need to take?
I personally would do the ITR pistons, they would give a perfect compression for those cams. You may wanna get some oversized pistons if the motor had high mileage on it. If you don't have any experience you may want to have a shop put your block together. It's not hard, but you can do some damage if not done correctly.
