Cams: Skunk2 Stage 3 vs Toda Spec C2 vs Toda VTEC Killer Cams
guys, does any of you have any experience of using these cams?
here are the charactiristics:
Skunk2 Stage 3
IN. 0.504, 270
EX. 0.465, 279
Toda Spec C2
IN. 250 (11.0) - 300 (12.5) - 250 (11.0)
EX. 250 (11.0) - 300 (12.5) - 250 (11.0)
Toda VTEC Killer Cams
Intake 285 (12.0) - 295 (12.0) - 305 (12.0)
Exhaust 285 (11.5) - 295 (11.5) - 305 (11.5)
Can anyboby give discription of these cams on B18 engine? What these characteristics give us in practice? Let me explain, the winter is pretty close, so I think it is time to start choosing parts for winter upgrade. I narrowed the choice to these three types of cams. And now trying to understand which one would be better for me. Thanks.

well, what are your power goals? i would not suggest the VTEC killers unless you are going to build a drag car. as far as the toda spec c2, i have never heard of the c2. i think the stage 3's like more than 12:1 compression. more details on the setup will help with cam selection also. what do you want the car for, street, street/strip, full race etc. bore, stroke, what head, etc. all of that is a factor.
