*Ok I hate to start another thread about this subject, but I need to make a decision promptly about my interior. Yes I know there is a gajillion posts about this but most of the pictures are dead.*

My car is painted candy blue, but my painter says the interior will not look good because there are so many curves etc. to paint it candy. So I am looking for alternatives that I can do to where it wont look dumb. I am contemplating carpet, black paint, or maybe even an undercoating or textured spray... I saw a picture of this before (it may have been line x)and was impressed on how it looked. Anyways please help it is much appreciated!

Anyone... Interiors Painted Black???

 

paint it black, as long as it isnt flat black, itll look pretty clean

 

mine is satin black but the floor/trunk area/rear seat area is all truck bed coating. ill try to get some pics.

I just painted my whole interior with the truck bed coating came out nice.

i painted it and didnt like it. so i covered it with marine carpet-black.

looks pretty good. pain in the *** to make look nice.

 

Any way you guys could take pics for me?? You would really be helping me in a bind... Thanks!

i was thinking of doing the same thing, but when u come to realize u stripped the rear to lose weight, why add it back with the diy bed linner.

I didnt do a thick coat like with the regular truck beds, I did a base of the satin black rustoleum then a topcoat of the truck bed coating, but just on the trunk/floor the rest of the inside is just satin black, all the tar and everything is all removed too, so I dont think you would really be adding weight back.
