soo far i got the turbo kit ,intercooler,pipings,440 injectors,walbro fuel pump.

question: which engine management should i use?

i want use a FMU,missing link,and chipp my p28(which program recommend?)

Problem: friend of mine told me that i would need to buy a master retard unit, which MSD offers. would that be nessesary? or can i retard it when i tune and chip the ecu??

if its not nessesary then which engine management can i use instead of this retard unit?

BTW: i am aware of hondata and such units..but i am seeking for a different/less expensive route.. but if this set-up seem too be too much hassle,and not worth the time or $,i may just wait until i have enough money for a hondata and tunning.

you can go witht he fmu, people have used them and they get the job done. will it be as good as hondata? NO but for low boost 6-8psi the fmu will do. check the archives this has been covered a gazillion times

 

just find somone to tune it with crome or urbadata(like hondadata but free) all you need to do it chip your ecu and have injectors expletive THE FMU AND MISSING LINK IT WILL MESS UP THE ENGINE AFTER TIME...! The key is tuning man...
