Default 2.0 inch cat converter

hey i wanna get a magnaflow cat converter but it is 2.0 and i have the magnaflow catback that is 2.25 so do i need to get a 2.25 cat converter or can a use a 2.0 thanks

why the heck would you want a 2" converter with a 2.25" exhaust? just doesn't make sense. i'd even say go to 2.5" b/c i doubt a 2.25" converter flows like a 2.25" open pipe. but you'll need some welding to make it fit either way b/c your header has a 2.0" collector, which is also a bottleneck BTW.

alright so i get a 2.5 inch converter and then what about when i get the header and downpipe what if the downpipe isnt 2.5?
