I bought the Wilwood 6 pot caliper brake kit from Fastbrakes and my Racing Hart CR wheels dont clear the caliper. I measured the distance I need to clear the caliper and it seems to be a whole inch!! An inch wide space cannot be good the the bearings or the suspension can it? Is everyone with a big brake kit rolling on spacers? and if so, how big?
What are the best wheels to buy to fit the brake kit? I really do not want to sell it because of this problem. Please help!

 

well if you dont wanna sell the brakes...either buy some spacers or get some wheels w/ a different offset. 1" spacer sounds a little too much to me.

 

15mm was the distance to clear the caliper. I am only going to sell it as a last resort. I dont understand because I cant be the only person with this proble. wont a spacer that big do damage if I drive on it regularly?
by the way, I drive a 95 accord lx swapped and rebuilt on juice
