D16Z from singapore need some help.

hi guys, im from aisa.
had been watching this forums for sometime..and u guys rocks with all the mods.
so i wondering if some of the pro can help mi out with these problem.
my ride is 4door EG. with some basic mod;
-IHE
-62mm TB (ek4)
-grounding cable
-iuranium plugs
-vafc2
-lighten crank pulley

im facing some problem after i swap my D15B2 to D16Z6.
i keep hearing a soft knocking sound "krouk krouk" cumin from the center of the dashboard near the firewall at ideling, pop the bonet 30x,but i cant figure out where it came from?? can only be heard in the car(funny)
i even change the bottom mouting near the firewall but still the same...

now i have a D16Z6 engine but still using the D15B2 (4.083 FD)gearing, izt a good choice to swap to the D16Z6 (4.25 FD)gearing? is there much different?

any pro here can help mi out with this ****??

I would assume that your engine was sitting unused for a while, and possibly has some deposits in the head messing with flow or compression. Either that, or your plugs are giving off way too much radiation (lol I'm guessing you meant irridium). It could also be the crank pulley, since lightened/non-dampened pulleys for non-race cars is always a bad idea.

As for the tranny, I'd only upgrade if the new tranny is in better condition.
