I just put in my Neuspeed race springs with my stock wheels. I'm skeptical as to whether or not I can even fit a 16" wheel in there since the tires are already tucked in my fender wells. Has anyone put a 16" or 17" wheel on with these springs??

I put Neuspeed Sport (not RACE) springs in my friend's Civic coupe. It rubbed with the 17" wheels and 215/40 Kumho's I sold him. I rolled his fenders and cut his wheel liner and it still rubs.

I dunno what to say about 16" wheels. Race springs are even lower, so you might rub. Good luck.

 

i HAD neuspeed race...sold them within 2 months! i was rubbing my 16" 5zigen becketts. i also had agx's at the time too. i still have them but now with 5zigen springs

 

Dammit...this isn't what I wanted to hear!

 

What tire size are you going with?

 

nothing wrong with 15's, very light.
if your worry about looks because of size.
get some volks or spoons.

 

I'm worried because the front already rubs, but I thought that putting bigger wheels on your car raises it up a little...true??
