Car started to misfire then cut out. Now it wont start. Help please ?
The car is an 93 EG6 Civic SiR.
One day the car had a slight misfire which came and went. Later on that day the car misfired constantly until i went to open the bonnet and the engine died.
The strange thing is when i was checking everything the leads were getting a spark at the cap and also at the plug end. Now iv gone back to it there is no spark at all !
I have tried changing the module inside the distributor but nothing.
Could i be right in saying the whole distributor might need to be replaced ?

Most likely the coil in your distributor. This happened to me earlier this summer and someone pointed me in this direction and sure enough that was it. It happens to ALOT of honda's.
My symptoms were: slight bogging at lower rpm's, then the engine just died.
I found a used distributor off HT for $40 and swapped it out and fixed the problem. That might be an easier and cheaper fix.
