Tire Question part 2
well i did my search and found that 215 Tires on a civic is ok at the front BUT will rub at the rear.....it seems 205 is the best width for the rear....so i decided to fit it this way on my daily driven turbo 99 civic hatch:
Front setup:
Hankook RS2 Z212 215/45/16
Rear setup:
Hankook RS2 Z212 205/45/16
and wheels are Rota Slipstream 16x7, bolt pattern is 4x100 and 45mm offset
what do u gys think? is this a bad idea? or do u think am gonna be happy?

If you are going to use a staggered set up you would ideally want the wider footprint tire on the rear axle. This will give you better lateral stability on the rear to help cut down on oversteer problems. Of course it will induce more understeer, but this is easier to control than oversteer.
so what are you trying to do advice here? to fit wide tires at the rear (215) and narrow tires in the front (205)??? am confused if u like my idea or u think its bad?
