Default tranny help please!!!

k so I got this car that has ls/vtec with a b16 tranny. for some reason when I shift into 5th it goes in fine but then after a little bit it throws it out of gear... and now I have a real hard time getting it into reverse. I know that my clutch needs bled, but could it be low on tranny fluid or maybe it needs changed??, maybe bent short shifter or something??, or is it my syncroes going out? could you guys let me know if this has happened to you and how I can fix it cause its not working out to well. thanks

Sounds like your 5th gear is fucked and maybe your 6th. Might want to get a new tranny unless this tranny is built and LSD'd.

But bleed your clutch first, that might be the problem with your reverse.

the tranny isnt built or anything as far as I know. But its weird how it will go into 5th just like normal and then it kicks it out into neutral. Also my clutch pedal for like the 1st half of the way down has like no pressure, so I know the clutch needs bled bad I will do it tomorrow after class, but I dont know if that will solve the reverse and 5th gear problem

It may be low on fluid, that can cause it to jump out of gear.

If the tranny still kicks you out of 5th gear when you put more fluid in there than you might have a syncro going bad.
