Just out of curiosity, what kind of times do most of you get with a B16 swapped CRX. Its an 88 SI, with a pretty much stock 160hp US spec (I think)B16. I'm just wondering, hopefully I'll get a chance to run it soon after I pick it up next weekend, I'm guessing low 15's high 14's?

 

I/E/basic weight reduction low 14s, 13.8 on slicks. Low low 14s with JDM GSR cams.

You have to drive the wee out of these engines to go quick.

I had an 89' SI hatch w/ stock B16a. Open OEM header and Ebay intake.

14.3-5 @ like 92-93mph on Drag radials.

13.90-14.1's @ 90-92mph on 20x8 slicks.

I ran that car very consistantly for a long time posting those numbers. That motor was very healthy and the driving wasn't to shabby either . Low 1.7 60's on the slicks and high 1.8's to low 1.9's on the DR's.
