i'm tryin to figure out how difficult it is for me to put in a type r steering wheel that came with SRS in my 94 del sol si. I've tried searchin around here and on some old archives on AT. But everyone seems to be saying one thing or another. I understand that SOMETHING needs to be interchanged. Not sure if its the steering column, steering rack, etc. Also, i'd like to be able to have the airbag be FULLY functional as well. any ideas..suggestions??? thanks!

The 98 Spec ITR SRS wheel will bolt up fine to your Del Sol. But the airbag connects are different. You will have to splice the wires.

 

You don't need to splice them... That's the ghetto way to do it. Just repin the plug.
