distributor question 4th gen
hi all. i'm a honda noob and am looking for a simple answer to this question. i just replaced the distributor on my 91 accord ex and forgot to make a reference as to which plug wires go on which prongs on the cap itself. i have searched for a few hours to find a pic somewhere to help remedy this situation. can any of you please help? thanks- bling.
look in the cap some cap have numbers on it..if none, remove cap, put car on top dead center # 1 ..where the rotor is pointing that is the # 1 plug, go clockwise firing order is 1 3 4 2

It could be your ignition coil, sometimes you will get spark but it isn't enough to start the combustion process. I would refer to your repair manual for the specs in which the coil falls into.
If that isn't bad then I would say it's your timing.

You could be out of time. Are you sure you found TDC on #1 cylinder? You should also be able to see the timing mark if you are at TDC on compression. If the rotor doesn't point to #1 as on the illustration above while at the same time you are seeing the timing mark , then you either have the distributor off or you are at TDC exhaust.
