Default H&R Race Springs

http://www.tirerack.com/suspen...ode=A

the description says an "extreme lowering". this is an 2.75 in the front and a 2.3 in the rear. is this too much for my 96 EK hatch. i already have 15" rims on it. will they work? i want it as low as possible but don't want mu ******* wheel well scraping the tires.

EDIT: i read that they may be too much for a street car without a camber adjustment. should i go with some 1.8 inch sport springs instead?

depending on your wheel size you may not rub at all, you will probably want a chamber kit tho, ive got the race springs and my rear chamber is fine, but the front is like 2 degrees off stock chamber.

depending on your used, id say go with the sports, i autox sometimes so i wanted the stiffer rates and dont mind the harsher ride (its not too bad, id love it if it werent for that damn squeak if got now...)

I have H&R Race springs on my CRX and they're awesome. Perfect ride height for me. No rub w 195-55-15 tires. Great handling but when I turn my yellows to full loose the ride isnt too harsh. If you want it as low as possible without scraping tires these are the springs to get. Actually now that I think of it they scrape if I'm pulling into a steep driveway really fast and cutting the wheel completely. But thats rare and is obviously an extreme condition. If you autox or do any form of racing go with race. Otherwise get the sports and ur girl will be happier too.
