Honda/Isuzu made the same cars?
I just got a 94 Isuzu Rodeo for my wife, and unless I'm wrong, it's the same exact thing as the Honda Passport. I need some OEM parts, and if they are the same I need to know since I can get Honda parts cheaper!
Anybody know?
Anybody know?
infact isuzu did OEM the passport for Honda, thats why the quality was never quite what poeple expected from Honda (yours may be great, but many have commented on the quality). This could allow for parts being switched between the two. I think Honda is gonna rerelease the Passport, but as a Honda built car. To be honest I don't think any dealers have sold the passport around here for the last couple years. I even thought they stopped making them until I saw there website..besides a 3.2L 205HP V6, I think there are many other better choices out there.
Thanks for the info. I got the thing for $4900 in pretty good shape, and all the Passports were at least $600 more and in worse condition. The thing has been maintained fairly decent, but when I went to change the plugs there was oil flooding in from the valve cover.
Looks like the moron that replaced the valve cover gaskets used hitemp silicone squirty stuff instead of the proper rubber seals (the ones that go on top of the spark plug "tubes"), and it's leaking down in there like crazy. Gonna take a lot of fuel cleaner to get that crap out

well honda just wanted a piece of the pie... so they found some losers who had shitty SUV's they needed to sell and that was history. honda USA is all about the money. I dont care what anyone wants to say. New Civic Si was built to only be close to the old si in performance... not even better.
