Default 17" rims too big?

I own a 93 honda civic hatch and my friend just bought a set of 17" enkei rims out of the Adit and only wanted the tires. Im kinda tired of looking at my stock semi-rusted rims. He will sell them to me for 200 dollars which is a really good deal. So are 17" rims to big? What do u guys think?

You guys are all posers. Give me some hard evidence why 17's are too big? If your basing it purely on looks, fine, you're entitled to your opinion....but based on performance, its really a toss up. Unless you're doing some auto-x, drag racing or circuit racing then all that matters is how you think it looks.

Why don't you put one on your car....did he take the tires off yet?

how can you say it's a toss up based on performance? go put some 15's on that gsr in your sig then compare your 1/4 times with some 17's. performance wise = 15" hands down. but i do agree that if that's not what you want to do, then it all comes down to how you want it to look.

I dont drag race, autocross, or circuit. Atleast, not yet im saving up for a swap right now. So the impact on performance doesnt really matter to me right now.

17's are going to make ur car look like a SUV.

17's are fine on other cars, but not older civics.

Well lets see, hurts performance, makes the car ride like ****, increases the possibility of bending a rim, looks bad...etc etc

17's on a hatch yes, on a accord, no.

Go with 16's or 15's.

i personally think 17 inch wheels are too big but thats just me..

if u like the way the wheels look on ur car then buy them or buy them and sell them like CHASING 300 NA said.

I think 17's are to big for anything pre '92 but i think after that the bigger Civics can pull them off.

you guys are idiots. 17" are too big for the Radius of the wheel well.
Wheel size depends on the car.
15-16 for eg/dc/da/
16-17 for em/ej
17 for dc5/03+ accord

16-18 for 240sx
18-19 for g35/350z

Don't say they're too big just because others say so.

Don't forget to buy wheels that are flush to the body of the car. Most people dont know **** about wheel specs and buy wheels that makes the car look like a sunken ship.

Beautiful. I would kill for a set of 16" or 17" White Enkei ER01s.

What rims are they? I may be interested if you're not.
