Default Driving the Matta-mobile... aka full size slot car

I had the great honor/pleasure of codriving Josh's SM Civic at North Hills. (The original plan was for me to be tire warmer, since this isn't a points event for me but that fell through because of corded and flat spotted tires. We ended up running on street tires for most of the event.)

My thoughts on the car is summed up by this. That thing is freaking insane, yes I should have more technical words but wow its like literally driving a slot car. I don't know how the heck you keep it pointed the right way Josh.

My first experience of throttle snap oversteer... left me going

Thanks again dude for letting me codrive a real car instead of my over weight underpowered piece of doo doo. Sorry the plan didn't work out quite right.

its definitely a fun car. One of the easiest cars to drive fast that I've ever had the pleasure of driving. You just gotta get used to having to go to third gear on almost every course, and then there are the tires that stick out a good 3 or 4 inches from the fenders.

For those that don't know, which I'm guessing most don't

Josh's car is an EF with a B18b and 92-93 GSR tranny and some really wide Hoosiers

Best way to decribe this car is to watch it.

http://www.banklogic.net/~econ...b.wmv

It is budget SM build with total cost less than 5000 grand up untill this year. Car has a 93 LS motor with LSD in the said tranny. Car was competeing for FTD normally this year befroe my tires started to heat cycle out. Anyway enjoy the vid.

Thanks for the Kind word about my car and my drving Sean.
