h22 in a 91 integra
i have a 91 intregra and i want to drop an h22. how hard is that because i know they come hydrolic and linkage is different. i've herd that you have to do something to the firewall
first off, understand that your engine bay is JUST big enough for that engine. second, the H22 has a cable-activated shifter, not rod-activated. third, your engine mounts, axles, and vehicle/ECU wiring will be inadequate. you'll need some wiring help, new mounts, new axles, H22 shifter cables, H22 shifter assembly (the WHOLE thing), and even then that front subframe thing on the DA may or may not clear properly. just because the H22 swap is a bit cheaper than a GSR swap doesn't mean it won't cost more by the time you're done. but WILL have so much torque you won't know what to do with it any more

seriously, you act as if the H22 is a lot heavier than a b18.
